NZGAP Public Register

Overview

This live register displays the current NZGAP certification status for growers, grower groups, packhouses, transporters and wholesalers. Those who are in the process of becoming certified, have withdrawn their application, or have discontinued their certification are not displayed on the public register.

Businesses can be searched by the NZGAP number or business name.  The register can also be used to check operators who have recently expired, suspended, cancelled and declined via the 'status' drop down function. Approved operators must be searched individually by NZGAP name or company name.

Electronic and paper copies of certificates are accurate at the time of generation/printing and can be validated at any time via this public register.

Portal
NZGAP is developing custom portals for buyers to access tailored information for their suppliers. For more information on custom portals please email info@nzgap.co.nz.

Icons and Status Guide

		In Progress		- Applied for certification but not yet certified (e.g. application for add-on certification)
		Approved		- Compliant and certified (programme rules and checklist requirements met)
		Registered		- Food Act only - Registered for Food Act with MPI (via NZGAP)
		Expired		- Certification expiry date has passed, but renewal process has not been completed
		Discontinued		- Certification has been retracted by operator (e.g. sold business)
		Suspended		- Certification revoked due to issue which has yet to be resolved (e.g. non-compliance found during audit)
		Cancelled		- Certification has been terminated within last 12 months (e.g. failure to resolve suspension)
		Declined		- Application has been rejected before certification attained (e.g. not met requirements)
		Withdrawn		- Applied for certification but retracted application before certification attained
		Not Registered		- Has not applied for certification to this programme / add-on
		Other Certification		- Certified to another equivalent programme (e.g. GLOBALG.A.P.)

Food Act Registration

 All operators with active Food Act registrations via NZGAP have their status displayed the NZGAP public register. 

The MPI Public Register lists all businesses that are registered under the Food Act and the scope of operations included in the registration. Some businesses are registered for the Food Act via their local council or directly with MPI.
